The Swedish foundation of the Einhorn family, “Familjen Einhorns stiftelse”, has enabled the initiation of a SIGHT Award, to foster successful global health researchers early on in their careers. The foundation will finance the annual prize while SIGHT will undertake the award coordination.
The purpose of the award is to recognise researchers for important research in lower and middle income countries within global health.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences decided to award 2017 SIGHT Award to Andreas Mårtensson, as a nominee of Uppsala University.
