The 2021 SIGHT Award is awarded to Dr. Ashish KC, associate professor at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health at Uppsala University. The SEK 100,000 prize recognises Dr. Ashish KC’s research into improving care to reduce death of mothers and newborns during childbirth in low- and middle-income countries.
